Pre-K FOR ALL.

A FREE FULL DAY PROGRAM IN THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR FOR ANY CHILD BORN IN 2020.

GET READY FOR PRE-K!

All NYC families with children born in 2019 can apply to Pre-K for All. You can register below and be kept up to date through our registrar. You can find our school on the NYC MySchools account that you need to set-up before registering your child(ren).

School Code: 26QAUS
The Lutheran School of Flushing & Bayside
36-01 Bell Blvd., Bayside, NY 11361

It is a fun-filled program that focuses on preparing students for kindergarten. We grow through our play while learning to be part of a community, all about ourselves, and water and how it travels. There are so many different ways people get all around our city, why and how we use our five senses, plants and animals and the habitats they live in and how things grow.

STEAM Pre-K For All Serving Flushing, Bayside, All of District 26 and ALL of NYC.

LSFB’s excellent Pre-K for All program is better than ever! Continuing in the 2023-2024 school year, our preschool curriculum will emphasize STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts + Math). Following monthly unit themes such as Plants, Transportation, and Winter, our students will be designing and building block cities, exploring the properties of water, growing a garden, learning to code, cooking snacks, creating Impressionist-style artwork, and much more!

This play-based approach to learning will give our students the academic and social skills they need to thrive in school, as well as a solid foundation in the math and science concepts that are more essential than ever.

Pre-K For All is a non-religious program and we welcome all families and students from all walks of life.

Our school provides a warm and inclusive environment in a convenient location. This free, full-day Pre-K for All program is held in two of our school’s classrooms, and is open to all children born in 2019. After-school options are available at reasonable rates. Seats are limited, so register today!

Let’s have an amazing year together!

What is it?

4-K for All provides free, full-day, high-quality early childhood education for three-year-olds.

8:30am - 2:50pm

LSFB also has an after-school program that runs until 6:00pm for our hard working parents. We know some four families need a little extra time. See our after-school page.

Keep it healthy.

LSFB provides breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack all focused on healthy food and also introducing children to food that they will love.

If you want to provide your own food from home, that’s okay too.

Learn through play.

Play is far more powerful for children, however, than many parents realize. It’s actually the key to learning. Researchers and educators across the world have found that play can help enrich learning and develop key skills such as inquiry, expression, experimentation, and teamwork.
